Two Assistant Arts Professors in Directing and Scriptwriting – Undergraduate Department of Film & Television
The Kanbar Institute’s Undergraduate Department of Film & Television at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts is searching for two full-time Assistant Arts Professors in Directing and Scriptwriting to begin in September 2022.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have proven and significant experience as a screenwriter of film or television and/or director of narrative fiction film and television and/or documentary. Evidence of teaching experience or ability at the university level is preferred, as well as demonstrated experience in a creative/collaborative environment.
Duties include teaching 5 courses per year, mentoring undergraduate students, and participating in departmental and/or school-wide committees and events. Ongoing professional work is encouraged and expected. Salary, to be negotiated, includes an excellent benefits package.
