ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF FILM & TELEVISION, Television Writing (Comedy), College of Communication
About the Position
The Department of Film and Television at Boston University’s College of Communication is seeking an Assistant Professor in the area of writing for Television with an emphasis on scripted comedy.
Duties require teaching three courses (or multiple sections of one course) per semester, at the undergraduate and graduate level. Possible courses would include offerings in the Television writing curriculum such as Writing Situation Comedy or Writing Comedy Pilots. Department faculty are also encouraged to propose and develop new courses in their field of expertise.

Required Skills
Qualified applicants should have professional credits, teaching experience at the university level, and an enthusiasm for academia. An advanced degree is preferred.
