Creator and showrunner of Hulu’s THE DROPOUT, Liz Meriwether is currently also co-showrunning DYING FOR SEX, a limited series she developed for FX from the podcast of the same name. Before that, Liz created and showran the hit Fox comedy series NEW GIRL for its entire 7 season run. She also co-created the ABC comedies SINGLE PARENTS and BLESS THIS  MESS. For the big screen, Liz wrote NO STRINGS ATTACHED, starring Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher.


Melissa Silverstein is the founder and publisher of Women and Hollywood (external – opens in a new window), an initiative and website that educates, advocates, and agitates for gender diversity and inclusion in Hollywood and the global film industry. She is a speaker and consultant with extensive expertise in the area of women and Hollywood. She is the Artistic Director and Co-Founder of The Athena Film Festival at Barnard College which is a weekend of inspiring films that tell the extraordinary stories of fierce and fearless female leaders. In 2020, she launched the Girls Club – a community for women creatives, culture-changers and story-tellers to connect, create, network, advocate, support and redefine entertainment.
