The goal of the Animation Caucus is to serve as a community for professional writers who work in the field of animation.

The caucus addresses industry-wide shifts for animation writers and is an informal community for professional writers who work in the field of animation. Members of the Animation Caucus work to advance economic and creative conditions in the field. Through educational events, networking opportunities, and organizing efforts, the Animation Caucus is a leading proponent for animation writers.

Eligibility:

All applicants must have fulfilled at least one of the four eligibility criteria detailed below in order to be considered for the Animation caucus.

• The Writer has written for an animated television show has been or will be produced.
• The Writer has written a feature‐length animated screenplay that was produced.
• The Writer has written for an animated webseries that has been or will be produced.
• The Writer is a current member of the WGAE who is working on an animated webseries/film/television script.
