DHS 101: Part II – Homeland Security Agencies

Guild members write often about the Department of Homeland Security, whether for a script that’s the next TRAFFIC, HOMELAND or MR. ROBOT, a news story for online or broadcast news media, or a nonfiction documentary.

At the second part of our series on DHS 101, DHS Director of Multimedia and Branding Brandon Montgomery and DHS officials will provide an overview of their federal law enforcement agencies Homeland Security Investigations, Customs and Border Protection and Federal Protective Service.

These agencies have broad authorities to investigate criminal networks, domestic violent terrorists, transnational gangs and individuals.
