2015 Writers Guild Awards: Sarah Silverman, Clive Owen, André Holland Join New York Ceremony as Presenters

NEW YORK, NY (January 30, 2015) – The Writers Guild of America, East today announced that Sarah Silverman, Clive Owen and André Holland will be presenters at the 2015 Writers Guild Awards New York Ceremony, which will take place on Saturday, February 14th at the Edison Ballroom.
They join previously announced presenters Mahershala Ali, Julie Klausner, Robert Klein, Judith Light, Bill Moyers, Frank Rich, Morgan Spurlock, Michael Kenneth Williams, Lizz Winstead and Edward Zwick.
Clive Owen and André Holland star in Cinemax’s THE KNICK, which is nominated for “New Series.”
Sarah Silverman’s HBO comedy special, WE ARE MIRACLES, is nominated for “Comedy/Variety – Music, Awards, Tributes – Specials.”
Hot on the heels of the tremendously successful launch of Comedy Central’s THE NIGHTLY SHOW WITH LARRY WILMORE, Larry Wilmore will serve as host of the 2015 Writers Guild Awards New York Ceremony.
Special honorary awards will be presented to Norman Lear, Paul Haggis and Jeremy Pikser.
The New York Ceremony is sponsored in part by Final Draft, Bananagrams and New York Observer.
The Writers Guild Awards honor outstanding writing in film, television, new media, videogames, news, radio, promotional, and graphic animation categories. The awards will be presented at simultaneous ceremonies on Saturday, February 14, 2015, in New York City at the Edison Ballroom and in Los Angeles at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.
