2013 Writers Guild Awards
Los Angeles and New York – The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) have announced that the 2013 Writers Guild Awards will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York. The Writers Guild Awards honor outstanding writing in film, television, new media, videogames, news, radio, promotional, and graphic animation awards categories.

TV Eligibility Period:
Long Form, Episodic, Animation, and Children’s script categories:
First broadcast between Dec 1, 2011 and Nov 30, 2012
All other script categories:
First broadcast between Oct 1, 2011 and Sep 30, 2012
Screen Eligibility Period:
Exhibited theatrically in Los Angeles for one week during 2012
Documentary Screenplays:
Exhibited theatrically in Los Angeles or New York for one week during 2012
Videogame Eligibility Period:
Originally released between Dec 1, 2011 and Nov 30, 2012
New Media Eligibility Period:
